Restylane® is designed to smooth wrinkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours. It is a clear, synthetic gel made with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. It carries little risk of allergic reaction. The most common areas for treatment are the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth) and the lip. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane remains in your skin for many months.

Radiesse™ is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body's natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction. Radiesse can be used on many areas of the body, including the lips, nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures.
Treatments typically take 15 minutes and there is minimal discomfort. Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months, although the procedure can be repeated as often as you wish.

Dysport® is an FDA-approved injection treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles in the forehead. Similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport is injected directly into the site of wrinkles to prevent the underlying muscles from contracting. Dysport injections are made from the bacterium Clostridum botulinum, the same protein used in Botox injections.
Dysport was developed in Europe during the early 1990s, and has been used there successfully for several years. In April 2009, Dysport was approved by the FDA for use in the US, and is expected to rival Botox, the most popular cosmetic procedure, with its convenience and long-lasting results.
After the Dysport injection, the facial muscles will gradually relax and patients will notice the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles diminishing over one to seven days. With repeated treatment, results can last up to 13 months and treatment is required less and less frequently as the facial muscles become trained to avoid contracting.

Sculptra® is an injectable product that restores and corrects the signs of facial fat loss by replacing lost volume. Facial fat loss, or lipoatrophy, is the loss of fat beneath the skin, which can result in sunken cheeks, indentations, and hollow eyes. Sculptra provides a gradual and significant increase in skin thickness, improving the appearance of folds and sunken areas.
The results from Sculptra® are not immediate but they are long-lasting. In a clinical study, effects lasted for up to two years after the first treatment session in most patients. No skin testing is required.

Dr. Michael Kurzman offers IPL PhotoFacial™ treatments of the face, neck, chest, or hands. He does PhotoFacial™ treatments on men and women. PhotoFacial™ treatments use pulses of visible light (IPL) that effectively eliminates facial redness and brown spots as well as the visible signs of sun damage and aging. IPL technology can be used to help restore the skin's youthful appearance.
There is none of the down time associated with lasers and deep peels. Using the Intense Pulsed Light system, it can dramatically improve the look of sun-damaged skin as well minimize the redness of rosacea. Treatments take about half an hour, and the slight redness is usually gone by the time you are back in the car. Treatments are usually done every four weeks. After four treatments, many patients are so happy with their results that they elect to do more. Alternatively, some patients come in for maintenance therapy 1-2 times a year after they finish the treatment series.
